Horses revolutionized Native life and became an integral part of Human Culture. During the Vedic period a form of chariot racing was one of the most popular games and this continued and became a royal sport. Horses were important in the lifestyle of Indians during Vedic Period. ASHVA, a Sanskrit word for a horse, is one of the significant animals referred to in the Vedas
VEDIC PERIOD:
During the period of "Ramayana" archery, horse riding and swimming were Royal games. “Lord Rama himself was known for his mastery in Archery, Horse Riding and Chariot-riding." This sport has a great appeal for many people due to the fact that it’s a great way to spend time in the great outdoors. Riding trails, hacking, or trekking can allow people get out into the fresh air and enjoy nature. With a Vedic vision to motivate and encourage Modern Generation enthusiasts we have come up with Horse Riding School under the Auspices of BGS Knowledge City in Bengaluru.

Archery in ancient India has been respected and regarded as a divine art, quite secret and sacred, clad in mysticism. Archery is directly linked with our glorious past and the National prestige; the very mention of Archery instils a sense of pride among the Indians. It is widely liked and practised, be it as sports & recreation or as a part of religious festivity. The two great epics of India, the Ramayana and the Mahabharata, describe at length the artistry and perfection achieved by Indian archers centuries earlier. The feats of Arjuna, Eklavya, Karna, Bhishm Pitamah, Dronacharya, Bhagwan Parsuram, Guru Gobind Singh ji and those of Lord Rama, Laxman and Meghnath are still recounted with great pride.
Archery in India has steadily progressed to win the World Championship, Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, World Cups, Youth World Championship, Youth Olympics and Asian Championships, Paralympic.
It is a very important activity for everyone to improve their concentration levels in this training period. It improves your upper strength. The arms, core, chest, and shoulders are all used when practicing a proper draw. Similar to lifting weights, an archer usually holds their draw for a couple seconds, which allows for tension in the muscles. Repetition of this action leads to muscle development.

Success in shooting sports builds confidence, allowing participants to set new goals and take on new challenges as they progress. These may include shooting at longer ranges or smaller and faster targets. Because many shooting sports involve teams or squads, they’re an excellent opportunity to meet people and make new friends who have similar interests.
Three-gun shooting contests involve participants moving swiftly through a course of targets presented at various ranges during which targets are engaged with a rifle, pistol, and shotgun. These contests are also increasing in popularity and do require short-duration physical exertion. Though the sport draws many new participants each year, those who take part have usually been shooting firearms for some time before taking part because the sport requires participants to have a shotgun, pistol, and rifle to take part, which is a considerable investment.
The school/college participants are restricted to one group and the group is divided according to Height-Wise. Air guns are used for small game hunting, pest control, recreational shooting (commonly known as plinking) and competitive sports such as the Olympic 10 m Air Rifle and 10 m Air Pistol events.
